2010 Dry Chenin Blanc, Old Vines – St. Helena Estate
$30 bottle / three bottle limit
Made from vineyards planted in the early 1960’s, our 31st vintage offers a fabulous balance of fruit and acidity. Grapefruit and fresh melon flavors give way to a refreshingly clean and crisp finish. Pair this Chenin Blanc with a variety of foods such as creamy seafood dishes over pasta, green salads and even grilled meats. The cellar potential for this white wine is more than 20 years! Just 290 cases.
2010 off dry Riesling, St. Helena Estate, Old Vines
$24 bottle / $288 case
We have only seven rows and the fence line of Riesling grapes planted on our estate in 1966. With less than 1% residual sugar (RS), it is a beautifully balanced wine with bright, exotic fruits and a racy acidity making the finish crisp & clean. Enjoy slightly chilled on sultry afternoons or all year long with spicy Asian dishes or smoked cheese and apples. Just like the mural (from our winery) that graces the label, we think this wine is out of this world! 205 cases were produced.
2008 Tinto, St. Helena Napa Valley Estate
$35 btl / $384 case
This wine is made from our field mix vineyard planted in 1992. In that year we planted nine varietals on 2.3-acres, in the likeness of our Oakville stand, adding a bit more Rofosco, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Zinfandel. This vintage offers lush, ripe dark blackberries and hints of nutmeg on the palate and a wonderful nose of plum and cocoa. It has great structure as well as serious cellar potential. 398 cases produced
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, La Jolla del Norte Vineyard, Block 2, St. Helena Estate
$60 bottle / six bottle limit
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was grown on the western-facing hillside of our St. Helena Estate in Block 2 of our historic La Jolla del Norte vineyard. This tiny block yielded enough juice to fill six small French Oak barrels, in which we aged the wine for 23 months. The result is beautiful: a bright and silky wine with complex flavors of black cherry and blueberry along with hints of vanilla with a velvety finish. 162 cases produced.
2008 Meritage, Napa Valley, St. Helena Estate
$45 bottle / $540 case
In 1988, a group of American vintners formed the Meritage Alliance to identify and promote handcrafted wines blended from the traditional Bordeaux varietals. Our Meritage blend is similar to the wines of St. Emillion, with this vintage consisting of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (20%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). This blend creates a full-bodied well balanced wine with flavors of blackberries and cassis. It pairs well with hard nutty cheeses, strong flavored game birds and earthy vegetables like mushrooms and eggplant. 240 cases were produced.
2008 Petite Sirah, St. Helena Estate
$36 bottle / six bottle limit
Our St. Helena Estate vineyard was originally planted to Petite Sirah in the 1920s and we’re happy to be able to continue this heritage with our ten year old block of this varietal. The result is a deeply colored wine with bold, brambly, peppery flavors. 192 cases produced.
2009 Charbono, Napa Valley, Old Vines Calistoga
$32 bottle / $384 case
For the 2009 Charbono we again sourced fruit from Mel Cooke’s ancient vineyard. Just a mile north of our winery property, the vineyard is very old, very small, and head pruned. The wine is a beautiful inky purple color and has aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, violets, and lilacs. This wine has been a favorite of our mailing list and this vintage is a fine example of why that is so. The wine is enjoyable now but Charbono is able to handle a lot of time in the cellar and, over 10-20 years will develop into an unusually silky and elegant wine. 221 cases
$20 bottle / $240 case
Truly a California native, Symphony is a grape variety which was created and recorded at UC Davis in 1948. A cross of Grenache Gris and Muscat of Alexandria, the wine is bursting with an exotic floral bouquet, offers a clean mouth-feel and a lush, fruity finish. A friend made 68 cases for us.
2008 Two Goats Red, Napa Valley, St. Helena Estate
$22 bottle /$264 case
The varieties in this wine change each year…always a surprise and always delicious. This offering is already very smooth and offering the palate abundant mixed berry flavors. Enjoy this table-friendly wine year ‘round. 305 cases produced.
2008 Merlot, Napa Valley, St. Helena Estate
$38 bottle / six bottle limit
We are very fortunate to be located in the region of Napa Valley that is most acclaimed for growing Merlot. Our 100% estate Merlot has consistently ranked among the finest from this volcanic terroir offering wines that are rich, complex and full-bodied. This vintage is no exception. Look for luscious red fruit in this bottle with a supple, round finish. 239 cases produced.
2010 Dry Rosado, St. Helena Estate **SOLD OUT**
$24 bottle / $276 case
This dry rosé is made from Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers bright watermelon & strawberries on the palate and a crisp, clean finish. Enjoy this wine all summer long with BBQ’d ribs or a sunny deck. Only 208 cases.
Our 2010 Rosado is sold out. The 2011 vintage will be available in the Spring of 2012.
2009 Late Harvest Dorado, Old Vines, Napa Valley, Oakville Farmhouse Vineyard
$20 bottle /$240 case, splits (375 ml bottles) only
The French Colombard grapes are from a very small block of near-90 year-old vines topping our dry-farmed, hillside vineyard in Oakville. These vines are typically, as they were this year, Botrytized by the time we harvested in late November. The Botrytis (aka Noble Rot) concentrates the fruit flavors without raising the sugar level. This wine offers unique apricot flavors and with only 8% residual sugar, a refreshingly clean finish. It pairs beautifully with cheeses, dried fruits and mixed, salted nuts. 69 cases produced
2008 Tinto Classico, Old Vines, Napa Valley, Oakville Estate
$45 bottle / 6-bottle limit Club Casa Members, 3-bottles, non-members
This original field-blend wine offers a balance of bright fruit, (we get creamy blackberries and dark cherries this year) with a spicy white pepper on the finish. About nine varieties are side by side in this vineyard planted in the early 1940’s. The actual percentage of each contributing varietal is undetermined and may include Old-Clone Zinfandel, Mondeuse, Carignane, and Petite Sirah to name just a few. I’ve enjoyed past vintages of this wine with cream sauces over pasta or pork medallions in a reduction sauce. We produced 149 cases.

2008 Cabernet Franc, Napa Valley, St. Helena Estate
$45 bottle / $486 case
We’ve been producing Cabernet Franc from the estate vineyards since 1986, probably one of North America’s earliest Cabernet Franc programs. This vintage is 100% Cabernet Franc and offers a full-bodied structure with bright fruit, hints of spice and mint followed by a pleasing finish. It will pair well with a variety of meats and sauces. This wine can be cellared for four to 12 years. 354 cases produced.
